A Legacy of Faith. A Future of Glory.

For over 25 years, RCCG The Chapel Norwich has been a home of healing, teaching, worship, and transformation. From our humble beginnings in 1998 at Hewett School, to the miraculous acquisition of our property at 193 Plumstead Road, our story has always been one of divine provision and unshakable faith.

We are a church deeply rooted in prayer, the Word of God, and radical love for people. From weekly services and youth discipleship to care home ministries, outreaches, and church plants — The Chapel has grown to become a beacon of hope in Norwich and beyond.

Suddenly, on a calm Sunday afternoon, 27th April 2025 at about 2:30 PM fire broke out. It started from the storage gallery, where we store decorations, chair covers, bands, Christmas nativity play collections, tables & chairs, gazebos, artificial grass and what have you.
And there the fire broke out from. We don’t know what started the fire but fuelled by the gas pipe inventory to the warm air heaters in the storage gallery, the building was destroyed. Not a pin could be salvaged.

Today, our worship building lies in ruins and left behind an eerie silence – like the silence of the night. And there was a great silence like the silence
of the night.

We need your help. We need one thousand people to stand with us each donating one thousand pounds and gift aiding their donation. You don’t have to give it all at once but you can decide to give one hundred pounds monthly for 10 months, OR, twenty pounds weekly for 50 weeks.

Let’s Build for Generations

RCCG The Chapel Norwich has stood as a home for all – the young, the elderly, the new to faith, the seasoned believer, the immigrant, the student, the searching soul.

We are believing God that through this campaign, we will not just rebuild a structure, but raise a sanctuary that will serve generations to come.

Let’s build together — brick by brick, prayer by prayer, seed by seed.

Our Commitment:
We will acknowledge every £1000 pounds donation & you will be invited to the dedication of the new church building. It serves also as the Plumstead Road Community Centre, a vital hub for the local community.

“May the God of love and peace be with you. Amen.”
